We are finally home, back in Florida where the state of Florida believes we live. We are actually about 29 miles away from where our mailbox/physical address is, so while we are here we might even go by on Friday to see if we have any mail. Where we are now is Starke, Florida in a KOA. Dave was able to find another campsite that wasn't all booked for the Holiday weekend. We will stay here until Sunday then head out for Orlando for Disneyland, Busch Gardens, ect. While here in Starke we will have Thanksgiving here and just relax, ride bikes, hit golf balls and give Valley a bath, plus I will work on getting my tan back. If you can't tell there is nothing close to Starke except Jacksonville, and that's just another big city 45 miles away and we need a break from big city's. Once we got settled in Dave found out from the KOA office that they are having a Thanksgiving Dinner at 2pm for $7.49 a person, or the steak house down the street is having a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for $10.99 but Dave has decided that we can cook our own Turkey dinner. Which sounds great to me love leftover turkey, so we headed out for Wal-Mart, which is a mile away, and we were lucky enough to find a 12 lb. turkey, looking for a 10 pounder but no luck. So tomorrow we will cook turkey, sweet potatoes, corn, stuffing, rolls and have a salad. There are 2 of us, if you count Valley 3, but I'm thinking we just might have a bit much on the leftovers, my refrig. isn't that big, will see what happens. Got to remember, Dave has never done a turkey on is little BBQ so we might still be going out to dinner somewhere. Will let you know how it turns out, anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
