Back in Cornville, Arizona

The Carrie Underwood concert was great, but very loud. My ears just can't take the loud music anymore, at least with Carrie I could hear the words but the 2 groups ahead of her all I heard was music couldn't make out a single word.
We got the RV washed on Monday (10/4), boy was it dirty after sitting for 6 weeks. Dave went and filled it up and I went over to Kim's to wait for him. We got on the road at noon and headed for Laughlin Nevada. We arrived at the Tropicana Express around 5pm, setup for the night then headed in the casino. Had dinner then Dave went gambling, I couldn't find any machines that I liked so I went back to the coach. Dave came back later $40 lighter. We headed out at 7am the next morning and arrived back to our house at 11:30am. We drove through one heck of a storm and there were still many on the way. Luckily for us the rain stayed away until we got the coach all unpacked, which took about 3 hrs. Dave parked the RV at the top of the street because we weren't ready to take it to storage. That night it rained and at 4am it looked like a strobe light was going off in our house. There was so much thunder and lightning it was something else to see, no way could we sleep through that. Later in the morning we had tons of rain and even got some hail, so there was no way we were going to take the RV to the storage place, we were going to wait until the rain stopped.
Thursday morning, no more rain in site, we decided to take the RV to 1000 Trails for storage. Once there we found out the day before (Wednesday) that they had really gotten hit with hail. There were coaches damaged, cars too, the skylights in the bathrooms had been busted out and they had to close them until they could get repaired. So, it was a good thing we hadn't taken it to storage the day before.
Last night was a get together at our club house, it was a potluck, a lot of good food. We got to sit and visit with our new neighbors from across the street. They haven't moved in yet, but they are there everyday painting, fixing things up and putting new tile in, real nice folks.
Today, our new refrigerator was delivered, but it didn't fit in the hole where it was suppose to go. So, instead of returning it Dave pulled the Sheetrock from the wall and made it fit, he said he will fix the wall and we'll never know he did anything to it. The refrigerate is nice, I have so much more room now, plus, you can now see what's in it without having to bend all the way over.
Dave out now getting a new battery for the jeep, the one in it was just too old and won't stay charged anymore. Tomorrow is Geo caching, they are trying to break some kind of a record of the most caches in one day. Since tomorrow is 10/10/10 that's the day they picked to do it.
Caught up again, happy to be home, sleeping in a big bed, having a large shower, it's the little things that can make you happy, miss the kids and grandkids though.
