November 12, 2007 we have moved again and now we are in New Bern, North Carolina at a KOA. I must admit I believe this is the 1st time we drove to an RV Park and didn't get lost, even inside the park only because they guided us to our site, we didn't fight at all, boring, the dog was even shocked. We are here visiting a guy that Dave has known and worked with, over phone lines, for years. Bob has retired from Civil Service too and went to work for the company Dave use to work for. Bob came by about 3:30, we visited for awhile then he took us driving around New Bern. What a great place to visit, they are re-building the "Old Town" to look like the original way it use to look like in the late 1700's early 1800's. The houses are hugh and beautiful, they are even going back to cobblestone streets, very cool. One little thing of history, this is where "Pepsi Cola" was invented, by Caleb Bradham, a Pharmacist and it was first called "Brad's Drink" In 1898 and later on it was changed to Pepsi Cola, yea my kind of history.
We leave here on Wednesday morning so will have to update tomorrow night on the running around we do tomorrow.
