Tuesday morning August 22, the weather is kind of gloomy today but hopefully it will burn off. Yesterday we had our house power washed, it's so nice and shiny now, that's probably why it's gloomy this morning. You know how it goes, wash your car then it rains. Yesterday around noon we went and picked up Kelly, Alex and Rosie and went for a long scenic drive and ended up in this small old town called La Conner. We had lunch there(another long drive for lunch) then walked around the town, pretty neat place. Got back about 6 pm and boy was Valley glad to see us, walked her around then sat outside and read our books and relaxed. It doesn't get dark around here till about 9 pm so you can sit outside and read for a long time.
