Just got back from Burbank yesterday morning. Dave drove down to Sunland Friday morning to have an oil change plus what ever else needed to get done on the RV, it was getting done for free so that's why he took it there. To make a long story short, the dealership that installed our tow bar made a deal with Dave to do the work instead of us taking them to small claims court for the tow bar being bent, look back in past blogs but it's really not that interesting of a story. Anyway, we had a wedding to go to Friday night in Burbank so Danny took off work early and the 4 of us drove down together. When the RV was done Dave drove it to the Elks lodge where he and I would spend the night. Danny drove to the Elks to pick up Dave then on to the wedding. When we left the reception Danny dropped us off at the Elks and then they went to his parents house to spend the night there. Saturday morning we met up at the bottom of the Grapevine where Kim, Madison and I drove off for home in the Ford. Danny joined Dave and Danny got to drive the RV back to Bakersfield, his 1st real driving lesson. (no trees around so he couldn't hit those)
We all met back at the RV Park and Danny said it was a lot of fun driving but passing the Big Rigs was nerve racking and his back was sore because of being tense.
Last week we went back to the cardiologist for the results and Dave is fine, they didn't know why he has an xtra heart beat but did say come back in 6 months for another check up.
Nothing else new, still here in lovely Bakersfield soaking up the Damn RAIN!
