Ozona, Texas
We left Granbury Texas this morning and now have landed in Ozona Texas, waiting for our friends Lee, Vicki and Fleetwood to show up. By the way it is Lee's Birthday today so Happy Birthday Lee. Ozona is a hole in the wall place, it is David Crockett country, they even have a big statue of him, somewhere in town. We are actually staying about 6 miles from town at an RV Park right off the Freeway. But we will go into town tonight to take Lee out to dinner, oh boy, hope we can find a decent restaurant, I think they only have 3 main ones. The next thing they are famous for is their Deerfest, which they have the 1st Saturday of December, every year, and there you get wild game fest. Bear, crocodile, venison, turkey ect. ect. sounds like everything I wouldn't touch, well maybe the turkey I would.
We are just here for 1 night, tomorrow we head out for Presidio Texas to meet up with our fellow caravaners for our Mexico trip.
